Great box, odd shape, very pricey

Great box. Oddly shaped but it works. I liked the Hyper XL style but I guess design team discontinued that replaced with this. Only complaint really is the price being rather steep. Thule is ‘the best’ so I guess you get what you pay for. Haven’t use it on a trip yet so I’ll update if any concerns later. Very curious on its road noise.

Ford Escape 2018: This Thule is great but did not fit on my factory installed cross bars. After much agonizing, I bought bars from Amazon for a fraction of the Thule bars. They work fine. Decreased wind noise by putting masking tape over the groove in the bottom of the bars. Have done several long road trips. Seems nicely aerodynamic. Also bought an overhead lift kit – good investment. Makes it a one person operation.

Best of the Best

I’ve been buying Thule products for over 15 years. This Thule Vector is absolutely the BEST. Not only is it extremely functional, it is sleek with very nice lines that match perfectly to my 2016 Cadillac SRX Premium. It sits on top of the Thule Wingbar Evo and the Thule Evo Raised Rail adapters. While driving it, the Vector is stiff and doesn’t move with the air flow… even driving it at 65 MPH, there was no movement. I didn’t even hear any noise driving it. Check out the pictures. This Vecor roof top box is simply “Awesome”.

Waterproof, aerodynamic, custom fit for my SUV.

Excellent cargo box, aerodynamic, very sleek lines, access from both sides, strap tie downs from within. First trip was 1500 miles, the Thule box performed flawlessly.

Exceptionally nice roof top carrier.

Excellent design, super stiff, great hinges, interior is very nice, lights are such a nice touch as is the white painted reflective interior lid. It is everything as advertised. I was concerned it would be too big for a 2023 SQ5 Audi but it fits as if it were designed for this car. It is pricey but it is soooo much better than the rest. Made in the USA.

Worth the premium price

This box is so well designed it is worth the premium price. Apart from its good looks and functional aero design, the build quality is excellent. It is easy to engage the no-tool, hand-operated mechanisms and to lock and unlock the box to a roof rack. A built in two-clicks-to-lock function ensures proper tightness. The box can be opened from either side. Motion-detecting lights help illuminate the interior. The box was fully secure even at high highway speeds. To ensure the lid is secure, the box top cannot be locked unless each engagement point is fully secured to the bottom half of the box. The only downside is that big roof boxes are unwieldy to handle so you should two persons should mount and unmount the box.

High quality with a premium look

Extremely easy to take on and off my car and it fits a RAV4 perfectly. I’ve had two of these boxes and have had no issues. Besides the fact that I destroyed the last one, pulling into a carport with the hatch open, it will not survive that. Storage capacity is shocking because the box does not appear as big as it is.
