Let’s get the obvious out of the way….like every Thule product on the market, these packing cubes are much more expensive than competitors’ packing cubes. The quality is what sets these cubes apart. I have packing cubes from various companies and these are definitely my favorite. One can feel the difference simply holding them. The mesh is better, the zipper is superb, and the bottom fabric is awesome! While the quality is great, I deducted 1 star because of the price.

The price on these is absurd for what you’re getting. These are thin, traditional packing cubes without any bells and whistles like a valve to release air etc. They definitely work as intended and the sturdy so you can stuff them to the brim without too much fear of zipper failure. I do highly recommend packing cubes in general as they make travel and packing much more organized and streamlined. My reason for a 3 star review is that I own higher quality packing cubes from TJ Maxx that were 1/3 the price and came in a pack of 3. Or, alternatively, I own a packing cube that is uber sturdy and can be deflated of air so it packs down small and it’s the same price as this 2-pack set. $44.95 for 2 thin packaging cubes is far from a fair or good value. I’d continue searching and don’t fall victim to the idea that this set is expensive so it must mean it has something incredible about it – it doesn’t.

I assumed these would be a bit larger. When they arrived, they were okay, but best suited for smaller packing needs. These work fine for a few shirts, small toiletries, or mini towels, but do not expect them to hold much more than that. The build quality is decent, and the transparent fabric is useful, but the size feels a bit limited for a full travel packing cube set.Pros+ Easy to Organize: Good for separating small travel items+ Transparent Fabric: Easy to see what is inside+ Decent Build Quality: Feels well made for light useCons- Limited Capacity: Too small for larger clothing loads- Not a Full Set Feel: More like accessory cubes than primary packing cubesAm I disappointed? Yes a bit. Will I be able to use them? Sure

Thule is an excellent and well regarded manufacturer of many luggage related items, from backpacks to laptop sleeves to packing cubes like these. They are an example of the “buy once, cry once” philosophy, where you would rather pay more up front and not worry about whether your gear will last.I say all this because from the outside, you may look at packing cubes like these two ($45 at the time of this review) and think wow that is a high price, but what you are paying for is Thule quality, including a certified Bluesign product, which means that this company has gone through the extra effort to manufacture items with concepts like sustainability in mind. You notice it right away when handling the cubes, these feel like higher quality than other bargain options. The borders of the packing cubes have a wire running through them, which adds extra rigidity to have the cube keep its shape. They collapse when not in use, but expand a good amount when you need them. The cubes offer a good amount of storage, but I will note that these are packing cubes and not “compression” cubes, meaning it will not compress to offer you the option of adding more stuff. I think this is a good thing, as I use these types of cubes more for separation than for adding as many items to my luggage as possible. If you don’t travel often, I would probably recommend you buy a more budget option, but if you travel a lot and need gear that lasts, this is a good choice.

These are fantastic! I’ve been using them on my cruises, and they’ve made everything so much simpler with everything neatly packed and separated. I was able to organize my accessories and outfits so well. When I got home, I could use them for the T-shirts and outfits I bought on the cruise that were still clean. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone traveling—they make life so much easier! The quality of these boxes is very good. I love the zippers; they’re very strong, and the system is well-made, so you can compress them really well.

I like Thule’s travel accessories and bags, they’re usually pretty simple designs put together well with quality materials and these packing cubes are in the same vein. The transparent top is actually a really fine metal mesh that actually feels quite strong while the rest of the cube is some kind of EcoPak-like material that feels good and is very lightweight. The sides of the cubes are gusseted and have a good depth for packing but aren’t compression cubes. The single zipper works well and is all that’s necessary on a packing cube but I can’t help but miss having dual zippers for some reason. Craftsmanship is very good with the exception of a couple loose threads on the zipper pulls which hurt the appearance a bit. Functionality wise, the smaller cube is great for socks and undergarments while the larger cube has room for a good amount of shirts, shorts and whatever else. The transparent lid is pretty cool to have and makes it easy to see what’s inside and I think the metal mesh is a good choice over a clear plastic window that would really cheapen the appearance. I think they’re a nicely designed set of packing cubes even if a bit unremarkable overall.

I know some people are now eschewing packing cubes in favor of easier ways to pack when they travel. But I’ve always found packing cubes to be useful in separating my clothing and organizing my luggage. I love the size of these cubes because it fits a lot of clothes inside. The handles help with portability when you want to get it out and simply lay it onto a drawer like I sometimes would do. The seams look well sewn and looks to be made of quality material meant to last a long time. I’ve gone through a few packing cubes from different retailers at this point that it’s important for me to have a durable cube. These don’t have to be only used for clothes. I’ve used the smaller comparment for other essentials like electronics and stuff, so it’s versatile in that way.If you want you can even just used this as a bag on its own, what’s stopping anybody from using it as such? Overall, good quality and I love that you get two of each!

I purchased the Thule Packing Cube Family Set, which is advertised to include 2 large and 2 medium packing cubes. Unfortunately, my order arrived with only 3 cubes—1 large and 2 medium—so the second large (white) cube was missing. That said, the packing cubes themselves are excellent. The material feels premium, the construction is durable, and the sizes are perfect for organizing items inside Thule backpacks and luggage. They fit exceptionally well and appear to be built to last.My disappointment is solely with the incomplete order. Considering the premium price of this set, I expected to receive all four packing cubes as advertised. I hope this was simply a packaging oversight, but it’s worth checking your order as soon as it arrives. If the full set had been included, I would have rated this product with the 5 stars because the quality is outstanding.

Finally got around to using this and I must say it’s great! The quality is top notcha nd Thule has made another great product. The pack is easy to add clothes into and I like that it comes with two sizes. One for socks and underwear and another for larger items like shirts. There weren’t any compressios for it but the materials are nice. It’s got a rather sturdy but thing bottom and mesh top for breathability. No complaints at all and super nice for travel. A+++ for sure!
